FIRE DESTROYS THEATRE

Sadly, the Duchess Theatre in Long Eaton burnt down in November 2003.

The rebuilding programme has unfortunately come to a temporary halt.  [See Link--p.10]  As a society, 3Cs is endeavouring to support the rebuilding project in every way we can.  Initially, we were able to donate the entire proceeds from our Spring Concerts in May 2004 to the Chatsworth Centre Phoenix Fund, and the next year raised £770 for the Chatsworth Centre's ongoing management funds by giving an informal Evening of Gilbert & Sullivan.
